Welcome to the Humanities Center at the University of Tennessee. Our Center supports arts and humanities research in all of its diversity, and we advocate for the importance of the arts and humanities today. Representing nine departments in the UT College of Arts and Sciences, the Humanities Center is designed to promote interdisciplinary public conversations and research concerning academic, social, and cultural issues central to human flourishing, justice, equality, and ethical action in the world.
