Chandler Seminars

The Humanities Center fellows participate in weekly Chandler Seminars wherein they make presentations of the research they will be undertaking during their residency in the Center.  These presentations are followed by roundtable discussions.  Likewise, the Chandler Seminars provide an opportunity for visiting scholars from the Humanities Center Visiting Scholars Program, as well as faculty at the University of Tennessee, to impart their work and have discussions with the fellows.  They engender a climate of intellectual discourse and collaboration.

The Chandler Seminars are held in the Humanities Center Seminar Room (E308 Melrose Hall, on the third floor).  Please contact the Humanities Center staff at 865-974-4222, or email humanitiesctr@utk.edu, if you would like to attend any of these sessions.
